Literary analysis questions

1) Plot:  1. exposition. New york city slowly traveling West to california then LA. then back to New York city. Percy jackson. Annabeth Chase. And grover Underwood. Percy finds out he is the son of the sea god Possidon. He is a half blood meaning his mother is mortal. Annabeth is the daughter of Athena and Grover is a Saytr.
2. conflict. Zues's master bolt is stolen and they believe Percy has it. If he doesnt return the master bolt world war three will break out so Percy takes on a quest to go West and find the god that has gone bad.
3. rising action. On their journy the three come across monsters who try to kill them. and lose all their money. As well staying in a magic hotel which tricks them into staying for a couple of days without them realizing it.
4. Climax. Percy finds out that Ares god of war got stole the bolt from the actual theif, Percy battles Ares and wins.
5. He then goes to mount olympus in new yourk city to return the bolt before the war between the gods begin

Characterization

1) direct characterization: Percy is brave, he faced the minotaur without knowing how to fight. Percy is troubled kid, he was kicked out of 6 schools in 7 years.
Indirect: Percy is tough, he battles the god of war and wins even after he was wounded. Percy is smart, when he was stuck in the tunnel of love with annabeth he tried to use his powers to focus on the water and push them out of the tunnel.

3) the protagonish is dynamic. he changes SO much from the story. At the begining if the story he is a nobody that isnt good at school and keeps getting kicked out. At the end he knows he is the son of a god and learns to use his powers.

4) I have read the whole series multiple times, i can say i met a person. Rick Riordan is so well at describing his charcter his words come alive and seem so real.
